Trip to St. George/Las Vegas and Megan's BDay!

Okay, so I know it's been a while since i've posted, Sorry! The trip the girls and I made to ST. George and Las Vegas was a BLAST! I have tons of pictures to post, there's just never enough time in the evenings, i'm sure you all can relate! I hope you're all doing great!:)

New Pics!

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY CONRAD!!! Conrad is having the time of his life! Here's new pics from the past 2 weeks. He is such a hard worker and never gives up, I learn so much from him and I'm so greatful to have him in my life, and even better i'm so greatful that the people of Argentina have him in their lives :) Well for Conrad's birthday I sent him an awesome package of an ASU t-shirt, a cool tie, a little race car, girl scout cookies, and of course balloons and candles to help celebrate his birthday along with other small goodies :) This morning his mission presidents wife brought the boys homemade bread and jam along with Dr. Pepper, the boys were so excited because it's very hard to find Dr. Pepper in Argentina. Today is his p-day so they were going to go out to eat at a buffet for dinner. These boys have so much fun together, Conrad thinks he may get transfered next week so he's kinda bummed because he loves his ward/area and the missionaries he rooms with. But he's happy anywhere he goes, he loves meeting new people and making friends :) So there's the update on my boy!! :)

This weekend was a good one! My cousin, Drew, got married to Nikki in the Mesa Temple on Friday and it was so fun to see them walk out of the temple so happy :) They are so good for each other and i'm so happy for them :)

Jaimee had seminary graduation on Sunday which she also spoke at. Jaimee did AMAZING on her talk. It definately wasn't just ANY talk. Her story she told was very personal and meaningful and i'm sure she touched many peoples hearts because she sure did mine. The whole room was paying attention, the Spirit was deffinately there.

Well graduation for Jaimee is on Thursday and my last day of work until my vacation is on Wednesday! Needless to say i'm STOKED!! I have a week and a half of break and i'm gonna love every minute of it! Jaimee and her mom along with me are going to St. George and Las Vegas starting next Monday, i've never been to either places and we're going to do lot's of shopping and site seeing, it's a vacation much needed!

411 on Conrad's Phone Call

Okay, so I know most of you are waiting for me to give you the 411 of how Mother's Day went with talking to Conrad. Sorry i've been behind on my blogging, it always seems that way haha. Well talking to Conrad was absolutely AMAZING :) I was bummed at first because he said he would call around 1 or 2 our time so I stayed at his house from 12 to 4:30 just waiting and hoping he would call but he didn't, we thought maybe the lines were too busy so he couldn't get through. So I ended up just going home.....with tears in my eyes. Well an hour later (5:30) Conrad's mom calls me and says, "Kristen! He's on the phone!!" It was funny cause we were just leaving to go to my Grandma's so then I had to ask my Dad to please please please turn around or else I wouldn't be able to function the next 7 months until Christmas haha. My dad easily turned around :) Well turns out Conrad had plenty of time to talk, he talked for about 1 1/2 hours so that was much nicer than last time. He couldn't call earlier cause one of the other missionaries was on the phone for 3 hours! I think i'm mad at that missionary.....no just kidding :) I got to talk to Conrad for about 30-45 minutes and I loved every bit of it! I even got to talk to some of the missionaries he rooms with who are some of his best friends, Elder Rogers and Elder Moody. So it was nice to hear from them how awesome Conrad is :) It wasn't at all awkward talking to Conrad on the phone, we joked around and just talked about life... all I can say is that there was a smile on my face the entire time and I left his house with more spring in my step :) I can deffinately make it until the next phone call, it's really not too hard because time is just flying by! I have only two more semesters of school and then Conrad will be home, it's just crazy! I Love Conrad so much, he's my best friend and I feel so lucky to have had him in my life the past 5 years.

CONRAD!!!

I got an email and pics from Conrad today! He is doing wonderful like always :) They had a baptism this past weekend and were so excited about it! He sent some pics so i'll be sure to download them sometime soon. Guess what???? Conrad calls on Sunday!!!!!!! I can't believe it! It doesn't seem like it was Christmas very long ago and May seemed so far away! I'm SO STOKED!!! I'll definately keep ya'll posted!! :) Thanks for always listening about my obsession :) hehe

Living Life in the FAST Lane!

Ok so I always say life is busy, but it is! Although i'm sure that's the way everyone feels about their own lives! :) Well it's been a while since i've posted, but lot's has gone on. Conrad sent a package a few weeks ago. He sent me a birthday card and a cow hoof and cow horn to decorate our house with! Haha, it cracked me up, it's just like him to send something like that but hey i'm up for weird things like that! I posted pictures of it last time but Conrad had his sister bring me yellow roses and his cologne to work for my birthday, it was the sweetest thing! I was having a horrible day and when all of this happened it just made me burst into tears! But it deffinately turned my day around and made me grateful to have Jaimee there for me to hug right when I needed her :)

Last weekend I also went to watch my cousin, Drew, band play. They were amazing! The lead singer sounds like the guy on The Format...so pretty good i'd say. Well this weekend was great! Nathan had his 17th birthday and we celebrated at McGrath's Fish House. I had NO idea they made you wear a FISH hat! HILARIOUS! Nathan gladly posed for all kinds of pictures :) Our house has made some MAJOR transformations! We finally have new tile and carpet placed, along with a new entertainment center. It's so nice to see our house turning into a HOME :)

Well finals are just about over, I have my last one on Tuesday. However I do have an online class that doesn't finish until sometime in June but I can live with that. When it comes to a proffession I must say, I don't know what I should do. I could still be an elementary teacher, but i've also thought about a Medical Aesthetician. I really am confused and stuck as to what I should do so i'm just looking and seeing what type of answer I get. If anyone has any ideas of what they think is a great profession for being a Mom in the future I would greatly appreciate your ideas!:)

I do have a fun little trip coming up at the end of May! Conrad's mom, Jaimee, and I are going to take a fun roadtrip to LasVegas and Utah after Jaimee graduates. We're going to see the fun sights, go to a few shows and go shopping, i'm so excited! It will be nice to get away from work for a week and a half...YAY! Well that's all for now, I hope everyone is doing great...let me know if there's ever anything I can do for anyone! :)

My week and Conrad's Mission! :)

It's been 7 1/2 months! Here's the newest pictures that Conrad has sent....his comps bday, pics of one of his roommates, and sights of the city. Conrad is loving every bit of his mission, he is thinking he will be getting a new companion this next week and is very excited! They have a family of 3 girls who are very interested in the Gospel and he thinks they will be baptized soon :) This boy is one of the most positive people I know, he's growing so much and I'm so proud of him! :)

My week has been busy busy busy! With working full time and going to school full time it sure feels like it will never end!! But I know I can do it because I have great family and friends and without them it sure would make life a lot harder! Our family has been working hard on remodeling the house, oh boy.....is the house dusty or what?! We have been taking up tile because we are placing new tile and carpet in a week or two, we are SO excited! This will really help the whole transformation of the house. Meanwhile, we are living like dust bunnies but it's all good! :) Friday I worked out in our Queen Creek Dental office and that night I worked hard on my online classes and did homework and then my Mom and Dad treated me and my brother out to Texas Roadhouse for dinner! :) Megan couldn't come because she was babysitting but we still had fun :) The rolls there are so yummy...as you can see :) Saturday I had my class from 8:30-1:30, ran errands with my mom and then Jaimee and I went shoppin' at Chandler Mall and then over to BJ's for dinner, I love that girl and I can't wait for her to officially be my sis. considering she practically is one! :) Hope everyone is doing good and having a Fantastic week!


PS. Did everyone just love conference? Cause I sure did, everyone did so wonderful on their talks I feel like their words were so powerful and direct. They are all so awesome :)
