The Phone Call

Okay so I got to talk to Conrad on the phone Christmas Day and let's just say that it was... AMAZING!!!! I loved hearing his voice and his laugh. He is just the same, except even better :) It makes me so sad that it is already over but I'm so grateful that I was able to hear from him. Now some may not agree with the fact that I talk to him on the phone because it is supposed to be just for families. However it is allowed if the missionaries family invites you over to the house to talk to him. And of course Conrad's family is awesome so they always invite me over to talk to him :) I am so grateful that I have Conrad's family in my life, they have helped these past 16 months fly by! I am especially grateful for Conrad's mom, she feeds me everytime I come over (which she does not need to do) and we get to have girl time. I already feel like a member of the family and I love it! I am so excited for the next 8 months to fly by because I am ready for this boy to come home! I love him so much!

My Final Photo Project

I'm SO sad that my Photography class is over!! I have learned so much from that class and I will miss my teacher along with my favorite class partner Sara!! I hope to continue with my photography... I just need to buy Photoshop, if only it weren't so expensive!! These pictures are from family Christmas pictures ( I took them AND I'm in them ) and Nathan's Winter Formal Dance. Ugh, gosh how I miss him!! But he sure looks like he's doing a great job and having fun too!! Just a little over 8 MONTHS LEFT!!!

Conrad's Favorite Christmas ornaments on my families Christmas tree. He seems to think that they are him and I haha. Every year he puts them right next to each other, so I made sure I did that for him. Haha, oh the things he does to make me laugh!

My awesome friend Sonya!! We went shopping last weekend (well more like browsing since we didn't buy anything haha) and then out to Cheesecake Factory just for dessert, yummy!

So life is busy as always, just like it is for everyone else. Money is super tight with the holidays and paying for school...yuck. I'm SO excited for Christmas. I can't believe that it is here already, my last Christmas without Conrad, yay! I am so excited to talk to him on the phone, I love hearing his voice. It makes me feel that much closer to him :) It's funny too because I'm not nervous like I was last year. Whenever we talk on the phone it's just like old times, we laugh and tease each other. It's like he's not even gone, I couldn't ask for better :) It just goes to show that Conrad serving a Mission has only made our love and friendship grow stronger and I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. I am SO proud of the work that he is doing for the Lord. He always works his hardest and I can't even imagine what it must be like. I'm so grateful for the great example he is setting for our future family! Oh how lucky I am to have such a great guy like him, Love you Conrad!

My Twilight Review

Did I see the movie Twilight?? You bet I did!! TWICE in the same day!! I actually was more surprised with how well it turned out. Yes it was pretty corny, but the books in a way are corny as well. I think this is what helped me not become dissapointed. Not to mention I am a complete love sap and considering I have no boy to smooch on that just made me love the movie even more! I left the theatre giddy and in hope that I can smooch on Conrad, but is that possible right now, umm no. LOL. So all in all, I CAN'T WAIT to buy the movie and I am excited for the next movie (Not TOO excited though considering Jacob is in it so much, I must admit he is attractive in this movie.) If anyone is going to see it i'm game!!

16. What was your most recent memorable birthday? I would say my 19th. It was my last bday before Conrad left. He took me out to a nice restaurant and we spent an amazing day together.

Random things that bug me...
56. I HATE when people breathe on me. You know when you're sitting down and someone is standing behind you looking down at what you're looking at and then you can feel them breathing on your arm or your neck?? Gross I don't like that at all!
57. It drives me nuts when people don't use their blinkers. This is all because of Conrad haha, this drove him nuts too :)
58. When somone says "excuse me" don't just move 1 inch that's rude!

Salt Lake Trip

Heather and I took a trip to Salt Lake last weekend! I have never been there before ( I know, some Mormon I am right? lol) so I loved seeing temple square and all the fall colors!!! I LOVED the changing colors of the leaves!!! All the reds, yellows, and oranges= beautiful!! We were able to see the conferance center, the tabernacle, and of course the temple grounds. While there we also did some shopping and just enjoyed being with family! Thanks Hunts for allowing me to tag along!! I had a blast!
