Last Wednesday my friend Ashley invited
me and Jaimee to go out to the lake with her
and some friends. We went wakeboarding
and the last time I went I wasn't able to get up
but I got up this time! TWICE! Yippee for me!
(That's me above) SO as you can tell me and Jaimee
went cliff jumping with the 3 boys, ummmm bad idea.
(picture above is me jumping) It seriously did not seem
that high when looking from the boat! I know I know
you all have permission to scold me, I deffinately could've
been killed. But thankfully I wasn't and thankfully I didn't
even end up as bad as Jaimee. Jaimee was so close to the rock
when she jumped it wasn't even funny. Apparently her fist
hit her eye when she hit the water causing her eye
to swell and blacken at that exact moment. I swear her
eye was sticking out an extra inch or two, it was so scary,
she was even really dizzy. Two days later her eye
was purple (pictured above) but Jaimee loves
her black eye because she says she's always wanted one!
That girl has such optimism and boy do I love her! She
said this was even the highlight of her summer! She
sure does have a different idea of "highlight of summer"
but hey i'll take it, it makes me not feel so bad for
jumping off the cliff with her. lol, but NO I will NEVER
do that EVER AGAIN!!!
PS. I heard from Conrad today and he is doing wonderful as always!
He was transfered to a new area last week and has a new comp
who as only been in the country for a monthwhich makes him senior
companion. He is pretty nervous and hasn't been able to sleep well
all week but I'm sure that means he's just working extra hard and doing
his best! He is such a hard worker, I sure do Love that boy!!
PPS. oh yes, I gave a talk on Sunday about repentance. Boy
that was nerve wrecking, my legs were shaking so bad the entire
time, but I think it turned out pretty good! At least I hope so :)

I'm glad you didn't get hurt! I gave a talk too on Sunday! I didn't tell Steve until that day! It was great! One thing that helped me not be nervous was through out the week I would close my eyes and picture myself being infront of the congregation and I would just tell myself to relax and take deep breaths. I did that through out the week, just every moment I thought about the talk. And amazingly I wasn't nervous at all! So try it.... next time!
Uh wow! I'm glad that you didn't die!!! Holy crap, don't do that to me. CONGRATS on getting up on the wake board! YAY! That sounds fun. I haven't been in forever. Aw kristen, I seriously miss you! Hey Kristen! so good to hear from you! and wow, you and Conrad are still going strong! crazy. You guys were such lovebirds back in the day. :)
This is such a good time for both of you, try to still have fun and remember Conrad will be a better husband and man when he gets back! bravo to him for serving.
ha ha ha. You remind me of myself sometimes! When I was 15 I went cliff jumping up in Northern AZ. There was a group of senior High school boys and I was a freshman. I was trying to impress them so a friend and I climbed up to a 60 ft drop and we both said on the count of 3 you jump. I jumped on the count of three and somehow turned myself around mid air landing on my back! The air was knocked out of me and some of those "senior boys" had to come rescue me. When I got out of the water my entire back side was black and blue. Not joking I could not sit down for a week. I just continued to lay on my stomach.
I want to go to the lake!!! That looks so fun! And yeah, you sure have guts...I would never ever jump that high up! haha Her eye almost looks like you just colored it. It's like perfectly round! haha I miss you! Lets hang out!! Are you going up north this weekend?? call me! love ya
